To Desire confronts the shallow nature of hookup culture and its dehumanizing impact on women. The figure at the center, wrapped in nothing but bedsheets, embodies how society often reduces her worth to desire alone, her identity bound not by love, but by lust. The sheets act as both covering and curse, signifying the emotional weight of being seen only through the lens of temporary affection. Below her, in a reflection that exists almost as a parallel life, we see gold and a wedding dress, symbols of commitment, reverence, and the love she longs for but is denied. She is not made for this fractured world of fleeting connection. She deserves, and desires more than what this culture offers: respect, tenderness, and permanence.
